PC Games List 2007 Summary

You cannot talk about PC games in 2007 and not first mention Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Because this first-person shooter is still regarded by many as the best game in the whole Call of Duty series. Two huge series were introduced in 2007 with BioShock and The Witcher. With both getting their debut games and would go on to become huge franchises in the future.


One of the best releases of 2007 was The Orange Box. Which was a collection that featured the Half-Life 2 saga, the first Portal, and Team Fortress 2. One of the biggest gaming disappointments of 2007 was the bad port of Resident Evil 4. This was a game many PC gamers were waiting for.


The year 2007 saw the release of groundbreaking new games. Games like BioShock, Crysis, Test Drive Unlimited, and The Witcher were such huge games in 2007. Due to their enormous success developers were able to create sequels for those games in the upcoming years. Speaking of sequels the year 2007 had a lot to offer. First-person shooter fans were glad to see the release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, to name a few. Racing game enthusiasts were thrilled to see a good amount of quality racing games released.


Colin McRae: Dirt, Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights, Need for Speed: ProStreet, Sega Rally Revo, and Test Drive Unlimited are truly impressive racing games. The year 2007 also meant that PC gamers could now get their hands on Halo 2, with the release of a Windows version. Several good new strategy games and sequels were also released in 2007. Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, Empire Earth III, and Maelstrom did not disappoint those of us who like to play real-time strategy games.
